the Roca families were Portuguese people.. it became a tradition to the Spanish Colonial Enterprize since the Galleoon Trade in the shipping business for the merchants of Venice to hire Portuguese professionals to work as accountants, clerks and other services in the spanish shipping industry

the spaniards who came to Butuan and Calaghan worked as theadministrators of the lands owned by the Spanish Friars after many years when they did not able to go home to Spain they took native girls as their wives and settled as Agusanons then THEY WERE adopting  new family name the christianized name of theManobo tribe
Dumaplin was one of the christianized names of a Manobo

the spaniard who married a manobo girl in butuan


the mexican soldier that worked under colonial spanish government in butuan also married a manobo woman after many years when he did not able to go home to mexico

When Itay Iyong came to ButuanCity he knows about Inay Juana so that when he was requested by Mandin Rosila to visit the Ursos Villareal families in Cebu

But a storm at sea... the captain of the boat was from Ubay Bohol... he  requested to Itay Iyong that they should take a refuge at Ubay brcause Isla Pitogo is a good place where they can hide from the storm



During that time Juana Roca Dumaplin was  in Ubay,   she was assigned by the church to serve the catholiC church in |Ubay

The catholic Church was a major investor in the Bank of Philippine IslandsThus the income from the coconut lands owned by the Friars were deposited in the BPI The family of Inay Juana managed this enter prize aand see to it that all money are in tact that it should be remitted to the account  of the Catholic Church Inay Juana was a devoted catholic however she married itay iyong although he was a presbeterian bible preacher 








The house of the captain of the boat was a neighborhood of the Roca family... the relative of Juana Roca Dumaplin where she stayed



It was there that Itay Iyong managed to court Inay Juana   untilthey were married


BASIAO BOHOL 

When they got married Itay Iyong known as Ireneo Ursos decided to live with Inay Juana in Basiao until they got thirteen children



Amando Usos wa born in Basiao his cchildhood with hiS 13 brothers and sisters in Pitogo Island

AMANDO URSOS BECAME A TOWN OFFICIAL OSAN FRANCISCO IN 1970s......
HE SRVED AS SANGUNIANG BAYAN MEMBER FO ALONG TIME..  LOLOY URSOS THE SON OF HI BROTHER DIKOY SUCCEEDED HIS POLITICAL CAREER LOLOLOY URSOS BECAME THE VICE MAYOR OF SAN FRANCISCO
AMANDO URSOS AND MACIANO URSOS AND LOLOY URSOS TOGETHER HELPED IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE URSOS FAMILIES IN TAGLIKID
