About King Herod?
once upon a time Xerxes, the Persian king who destroyed our country of the greeks after seventy yearsof captivity  allowed  the Judeans to come back to Judea but yor government installed Herod as king of Judea without cobsulting the people
Herod was an Idumean Idemea , the country of Esau and Ishmael     It means Herod was not a descendant of Jacob  and Isaac thats why the Judeans are not in favor for Herod to be their king
Instead they are looking the so called the promised mMessiahTalks i heared that Christus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah .. 
Thats why Herod massacred Judean children when Christus was born in Nazareth because of hiS fears thinkinkin thatr this might be the end of his career as king since he knows that the Judean people did not accepted him as their king
